The Origin Story: From Structure to Soul
The Architecture of Form Born in the Netherlands and refined by the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam, my foundation is built on the sharp lines of Dutch Design and Interior Architecture. But a rebel’s heart seeks the soul beneath the surface. In 2015, that search led me to Italy, where I now bridge the gap between modern design and ancient techniques.
The Studio Today Today, my studio is a sanctuary for the tactile. I create to honor the structural soul of an object—whether it is the exposed binding of a handmade journal or the unpredictable crackle of a Raku-fired vessel. My work is not just about making; it is about reclaiming the "meditative art of the fold" in a world that has forgotten how to slow down.
While my training taught me to design spaces for others, my heart is now also dedicated to uncovering the internal architecture of my own history—tracing the maternal line that shaped my hands long before I touched my first piece of clay."
